Northwest Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a burglary in East Germantown.
On Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 4:45 am, an unknown male was captured on surveillance video gaining entry to the Woodlawn Deli and Grocery store located at 5637 Chew Avenue by forcing open the security gate over a window. While attempting to gain entry, several unknown person(s) act as lookouts until entry is gained. Once inside the suspect took several items including a Ruger 9mm handgun, and $1200 in cash. The suspect then fled through the window in an unknown direction.
Suspect Description: Black male, 30-40 years-of-age, wearing a dark colored knit hat, brown coat, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sneakers, carrying a dark colored backpack. Suspect appears bowlegged.
