Southwest Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a burglary in Elmwood.
On December 13, 2014, at 4:00 am, an unknown male operating a black SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Chevrolet Trailblazer was captured on surveillance video gained entry to the Straight Gate Church located at 6000 Elmwood Avenue by jumping over a side fence. A short time later the suspect exits the side of the property carrying two large bags containing approximately $3500 worth of copper piping and plumbing fixtures and places them in the vehicle then fled and was last seen east on Elmwood Avenue.
Suspect Description: Black male, 40-50 years-of-age with a medium build.
