East Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a theft in Richmond.
On November 5, 2014, at 1:17 pm, the complainant, a 71 year-old female, inadvertently left her purse inside the Happy Donut restaurant located at 1808 East Allegheny Avenue. After the complainant left the restaurant an unknown male was captured on surveillance video taking her black leather purse containing $1400 and a cell phone, placing it under his shirt then fleeing and was last seen east on Allegheny Avenue.
Suspect Description: Black male or Hispanic male, mustache, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket blue jeans and a red baseball hat. Male walks with a limp.
