The Yellow River section in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has frozen up as of Tuesday, due to a recent cold snap sweeping from the north to the south.
Statistics released by the Yellow River Flood-Control and Drought-Relief Headquarters shows that as of 08:00 on Wednesday, frozen-up sections occurred in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, covering a total length of 817 kilometers.
