East Detective Division is looking to identify and locate two males for a commercial robbery in Packer Park.
On August 27, 2014 at 2:07 am, two employees of Kawa Trading at 1717 Delaware Avenue were inside working when one of the employees heard a knock on the door, when they asked “who is it?”, the offenders answered “police”. When the employee called for her colleague and opened the door, two unknown males impersonating police forced their way inside the building. Both males were wearing dark colored hats with the word "POLICE" and one suspect was wearing a badge around his neck. Once inside, both males who were armed with handguns forced the employees lay down in the office. After taking 87,700 in cash the suspects fled in a 1990’s SUV (sport utility vehicle) in unknown direction. No injuries were reported during this incident.
Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Hispanic male, stocky build, late 20-30 years-of-age, wearing a light blue mask, white shirt and a baseball cap with “police” on the front, and armed with a handgun.
Suspect #2: Hispanic male, mid to late 20 years-of-age, wearing black shirt, baseball cap with “police” on the front, and armed with a handgun.
